International House is located in the heart of downtown Harrisburg and is a redevelopment of four previously vacant and deteriorating buildings that reestablish a viable commercial and residential area in the downtown business district. Originally developed as 17 fully furnished rental units for domestic and international students and interns, recent additions include a 31-unit expansion, art suites for visiting artists and performers, and a restaurant and retail outlets run in conjunction with the community college's culinary arts program.
