At 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania, we’re working to help citizens have a great variety of high quality places in which to live and work. We see a Pennsylvania where our natural resources are respected and used wisely; where our infrastructure is strong, safe and supports sensible development; and where our governments all work together to share resources and deliver public services to all of us effectively, equitably and efficiently.

How do we do that? We focus on the policies and practices that will foster a stronger economy, better built environment, infrastructure and resource renewal, and improved quality of life for all Pennsylvanians. We help decision-makers understand what citizens want for their communities, whether it’s better incentives for revitalization of downtowns; more creative options for maintaining our roads and bridges, and providing public transportation; or maximum return on every tax dollar.
