The Marketplace at Telford is a great example of how historic preservation can lead to community creation. The project demonstrates that small towns can make big impacts through the preservation of existing structures. The transformation of a former rail building into a community gathering space, complete with outdoor dining and access to locally grown food is a wonderful combination of sustainable practices. Accompanying the restorations is the construction of an additional building that is sensitive to the context. The Marketplace at Telford creates a wonderful asset for the community.
