Nelly Reynolds, another project of the Philadelphia Housing Authority, is a senior living facility with ample common space and an urban location that is sure to keep seniors engaged in their community. The incorporation of green building techniques, including a vegetated roof reduces the building’s environmental footprint, and demonstrates the Authority’s commitment to sustainability. Based on the visionary techniques used in their projects, we believe that the Philadelphia Housing Authority is a model for other public housing authorities around the state.
