2020 & 2021 Commonwealth Awards Merge into One Great Event

10,000 Friends of PA would like to announce that we are combining the 2020 & 2021 Commonwealth Awards into one awards program to provide an exceptional experience for our Commonwealth Award winners, sponsors and supporters.

The merging of the two events allows 10,000 Friends to recognize and celebrate more projects, plans and individuals across PA, including projects that may have been delayed during the pandemic as well as new projects or resiliency plans that have been developed in response to it, and visionary leaders that have found unique ways to meet the moment. The consolidation and expanded timeline will provide greater recognition for our award winners, sponsors, and partners.

The 2020-2021 Commonwealth Awards event will be planned for Fall 2021. The event will be held virtually to ensure the health and safety of our guests and to allow more people to attend and participate without the need to travel or gather in a large group. All current tickets and sponsorships will be honored for the 20-21 event. Additional tickets will be released and more opportunities will be made available. Details will be shared via email and our website, 10000friends.org.

Nominations for the 2020-2021 Commonwealth Awards reopened on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021 online at http://bit.ly/3oxnjjS. Award guidelines are included on the nomination page for reference. If you previously submitted a nomination in 2020, you do not need to resubmit, unless there has been a significant change.
