"While Pennsylvania’s unemployment numbers are statistically lower than last year, there still lies an undercurrent of uncertainty about the speed at which our recovery is happening.
During his budget address in February, Gov. Tom Corbett laid out his vision for a fiscally responsible state government, suggesting difficult decisions needed to balance the budget.
According to the governor, these decisions propose a path forward to bring economic stability. What the governor and our legislative leaders should do is go one step further beyond stability and propose a program that will create jobs, boost our consumer confidence and improve the lives of our citizens. That step is providing funding to fix and improve our infrastructure. It just plain needs it."
