Norris Apartments is an infill development and is transit oriented. It sits literally one block from the Temple (SEPTA) regional rail station. It provides great access to the Broad Street subway and the 23 and “C” bus lines, too. It’s part of a larger development strategy for that neighborhood because a private developer has proposed market rate homeownership, along with commercial development and student housing.
Development of this plan was done with the City Planning Commission’s input and advice, based on the overall neighborhood strategy to develop appropriately dense housing that could maximize the transit oriented nature of community.
