This environmental center takes a holistic approach to sustainability through features such as the incorporation of native plants, natural heating and ventilation, and the on-site production of shingles made from tires reclaimed from the nearby Delaware River. In addition to incorporating many sustainable building techniques, the structure is architecturally beautiful with a style that appears both modern and rugged.
